Hey Dizzy why don't you do one of Aromantic's Natural Body Products course. You would love it and you could pick their brains about the legalities at the same time. Also you are, as an IFA registered and insured practitioner able to make body products up to - I think £10,000 worth a year, which should keep you going. Check it on the IFA website. Hope this helps.

I'm looking 2-4 ml pipette dropper bottles in reasonable amounts to decant rose and other absolutes into. It is so much easier to get the oil out. I got some form Materia Aromatica but they were quite expensive and I'd like to use these bottle for the essential oils I sell, but it would add to the cost. Also does anyone know how the rubber in the pipette bit would react to being in contact with the oil? Mine seems fine so far and I've had it in the bottle for 6 months. Another thought that these bottles may be good for the other viscose 'blobby' oils such as myrrh and benzoin.

I've had really good feedback for the creams and lotions I made for the Xmas fairs and I am being encouraged to produce and market them on a larger scale.

Does anyone know where I should go to find out about any legal requirements regarding: testing/labeling/resale/ingredient restrictions, etc? I'm okay about producing on a fairly small scale but unsure whether I want to go beyond the point at which things start to get serious!

Any info as to where the lines are drawn would be very much appreciated.

I also like making clove oranges with cloves pressed into an orange, tangerine or lemon and a ribbon threaded through it. They make good Christmas decorations on a largish tree and smell lovely for years. Anybody else got some good seasonal ideas?

To make Christmas present bath salts try 125gr sea salt or Dead Sea Salts with 24 drops of lavender or other essential oils for 4 baths. Mix them together and pack the salt into a pretty jar - Name it and label it. Easy and lovely
