I seem to be getting through my precious Rose otto rather faster than I had anticipated. Can anyone recommend a good source for replenishment that won't break the bank?

My grandma always used to use beer - not sure whether it counts as a herb but it did make our hair shiny - unfortunately it also smelled of beer!

Hello Rolfster, Your friend could simply be helped with lavender. 1 drop could be mixed with 1 teaspoonful of almond oil as a body oil and applied with gentle strokes up the arm. Lavender will be good for the shock and a tonic to the whole system also helps healthy healing. 4 drops in a bath would also be good. Otherwise it would be helpful for him to see an IFA accredited aromatherapist for a few sessions to really help him back to health again. I hope this helps.

Does anyone know of any good herbs or oils to nourish the scalp, I'll like to make a soothing tonic mix to add to shampoo and conditioner?

My friend Charlie is 72 and just had a minor stroke. I wondered what the best oils are to use and which methods? He has lost a little use in his right arm but seems to be getting stronger each day, he is also Diabetic (diet controlled and not insulin dependant).
